6LACK Talks Songwriting Struggles Alongside 'Snowfall' Stars Gail Bean and Isaiah John

East Atlanta roots run deep. On the latest episode of 6 for 6: The Podcast, 6LACK sat down with Snowfall stars Gail Bean and Isaiah John to talk about the reality of the grind before the industry caught on. Between updates on their upcoming spinoff The Drop and the mental toll of heavy roles, the actors took it back to the lean years. John revealed he was still working as a janitor days before reporting to set as Leon, while Bean walked through nailing a New York audition only to catch a cold pass for Ready Player One. 6LACK brought that same honesty on the music side. In the interview, he admitted to feeling trapped performing his older catalog on the road and finally breaking routine by collaborating with outside songwriters for the first time. Hearing them swap battle scars puts the cost of making it into perspective. Watch the full episode below.
