Durand Bernarr & Big Sean Bring Block Party Nostalgia in "Waiting" Video

Durand Bernarr took his Big Sean collaboration outside for the official visual to "Waiting," pulling the cut from his May album, *BERNARR.* Directed by Maya Table, the video sets up an early-2000s block party complete with spray-painted backdrops, oversized retro fits, and lawn chairs. Rather than staging a detached, polished performance, Table keeps the handheld camera loose in the crowd, catching Bernarr and Sean simply mingling with friends between takes. The record itself pairs Bernarr's elastic vocal runs with Sean's crisp pocket, landing as the sole Detroit feature across the project's tracklist. Bernarr carries the hook with bright repetition before Sean slides into the groove, matching the cookout tempo while partygoers dance under the afternoon sun. It looks like a cookout you actually wanted to be invited to. Check it out below.
