Apple Music just quietly slid GTW Mik’s “Yeah Yeah” onto their BASE:LINE playlist at #43, and my radar immediately went off. Mik has been putting in work since mid-2023, carving out a lane with raw, confessional street records like “Storm Don’t Last” and “Numb 2 to the Pain.” BASE:LINE doesn't just hand out real estate to anybody, so seeing editorial curators tap in tells me his underground buzz is starting to bubble up for real.
