Hmm... SmurkioFrmLamron

Look, the math caught my eye before anything else did. SmurkioFrmLamron is sitting on under 400 followers on Spotify, but somehow clocking over 32,000 monthly listeners and popping up with a fresh chart debut on Soundcharts. His track "Long Ride" is clearly doing the heavy lifting across hundreds of playlists right now, moving numbers in the States and across the pond in the UK. When the streaming count completely laps the follower count like that, people are listening without pressing follow yet. The algorithm is definitely working behind the scenes. Keep your eye on this.
