Jorja Smith Plots November 2027 Australian Tour in Support of New Album
Jorja Smith is taking her newly minted independent status on the road. Following the August 21 release of her third studio album, *What Are the Odds*, the Walsall-born singer has announced a three-date Australian tour for November 2027. This marks her first return to the country since her 2024 run. The business behind this release is the real story here. *What Are the Odds* is Smith’s first project as a fully independent artist, distributed via FAMM and The Orchard. Produced entirely by P2J, the 12-track record is a complete pivot into dance music, pulling from UK garage, 2-step, and Afro house. Pivoting to club tempos is a major risk for an artist whose foundation rests on smoky, mid-tempo R&B. But independence means not having to clear creative risks with cautious label executives. Speaking to Billboard, Smith noted that the record came together naturally without a grand plan. Australian audiences will get their first live taste of new tracks like the Wizkid-assisted "Alive" across three major East Coast venues. Jorja Smith’s 2027 Australian tour dates: Saturday, Nov. 6 — Riverstage, Brisbane Tuesday, Nov. 9 — Hordern Pavilion, Sydney Saturday, Nov. 13 — Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne Fans who buy the album through Smith’s website get early ticket access on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 12 p.m. AEST. The Handsome Tours presale begins Thursday, Aug. 27, followed by the general public sale on Friday, Aug. 28.
