Laila! Locks In Sophomore Album 'We'll Never Be This Young Again'

Laila! is locking in the date for her second full-length project. The 20-year-old New York singer-producer has set October 23 for *We'll Never Be This Young Again*, arriving via Three Times Louder and Warner Records. The 12-track LP expands on the foundation laid by her 2024 debut *Gap Year*, stepping outside her childhood bedroom to cut sessions across New York, Atlanta, and Paris while maintaining her grip behind the boards. The rollout has been moving across the summer with cuts like "Miss Mango," "Anything Could Happen," and the Teezo Touchdown collaboration "Angel." The material has already earned major backing—SZA called the project "the most beautiful sh*t I’ve heard all year" after an advance listen, according to Rolling Stone. In the interview, Laila! pointed to the ticking clock that inspired the title: "I wanted to use that title as something people should be reminded of: Today is the youngest you’ll be." She's handling her own production and sharpening her voice on her own terms. Grown-up moves. Check the singles below.
