LeBron James and Mercedes-Maybach Link Up for Bespoke S 680 Saloons
LeBron James is already breathing the rarest air, but his latest partnership with Mercedes-Maybach takes the crown to a whole new level. According to Hypebeast, the King pulled up to Pebble Beach to unveil a pair of bespoke Mercedes-Maybach S 680 saloons crafted through the brand’s elite MANUFAKTUR Made to Measure program. One of these heavy machines is heading straight to LeBron’s personal garage, while its near-identical twin is hitting the auction block later this year to fund his LeBron James Family Foundation. The whip is pure luxury. The exterior sports a clean light ivory non-metallic paint job, while the cabin gets loaded with blue "Stormy Weather" Nappa leather and porcelain contrast stitching. Maybach even swapped out their iconic V12 badge for LeBron's personal crown logo, marking a historic first for the luxury carmaker. They also stitched his signature branding onto the headrests, cushions, and floor mats, and stamped the geographical coordinates of his hometown of Akron, Ohio, onto a bespoke badge. This is how you give back when you've already won everything. The proceeds from the upcoming auction go directly to his I PROMISE initiatives supporting Akron families. King status behavior.
