Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean Reunite for One-Night Performance of 'The Score' in Las Vegas
Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean are heading to the desert. The two founding members of the Fugees are reuniting to perform their seminal 1996 album, The Score, live for a single evening at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas on Friday, November 6. According to Hypebeast, the one-night-only event marks three decades since the release of the landmark record. In the mid-nineties, the group fused rap, reggae, soul, and R&B into a global blueprint that reshaped hip-hop's commercial and creative ceiling. While Hill's solo debut, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, went on to earn five Grammy Awards, achieve Diamond status, and enter the Library of Congress, The Score remains the foundation that introduced her and Jean's creative synergy to the world. Las Vegas one-offs can easily feel like routine anniversary bookings, but getting Hill and Jean on the same stage to run this specific material is a rare occurrence that justifies the trip. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 28.
