Niontay Keeps It Crooked on New Single "Highly Volatile"

Niontay is easily one of the most unpredictable heads coming out of MIKE's 10k circle. If you caught his *Soulja Hate Repellant* mixtape from earlier this year, or remember him trading heavy bars with Earl Sweatshirt on "Real hiphop," you already know he doesn't do normal. His latest drop, "Highly Volatile," keeps that same crooked energy. The track runs on a dusty, off-kilter loop that rattles against some very uneven percussion. Niontay slides through the gaps with a relaxed, conversational flow, barely waiting for the snare to catch up. It is completely unpolished and better for it.
