OpenAI Continues Coding Push, Acquires Astral

OpenAI bought Astral to wire its Python tools (Ruff, uv) directly into Codex. This is not about generating better code. It is a structural attempt to control the entire developer workflow and claw back market share from Anthropic inside the enterprise.
