Pusha T Admits Clipse Had To Play Politics For Their Grammy Win

Pusha T isn't sugarcoating what it takes to bring home a golden gramophone. During a Sept. 3 appearance on The Breakfast Club, Push pulled back the curtain on Clipse's awards run, admitting that securing their first Grammy required serious industry campaigning. In his own words, taking home the hardware meant showing up wherever the Recording Academy wanted and kissing "so much a**" along the way. Per reporting from HotNewHipHop, the Virginia duo entered the 2026 Grammys sitting on five nominations for Let God Sort Em Out, ultimately snagging Best Rap Performance for "Chains & Whips" featuring Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell Williams. While Kendrick took Best Rap Album for GNX, Push took missing a clean sweep in stride. "We came home with one, man. Ain't no biggie," he said.
