Spotify is putting actual resources behind its discovery ecosystem. The streaming giant announced Fresh Finds Forward, a program designed to onboard roughly 10,000 emerging independent acts each year into a twelve-month benefits package. According to reporting from Take Database, eligibility is retroactive to January 1, 2026, pulling directly from artists who land on any curated Fresh Finds playlist. Selected US-based musicians get free studio bookings at premier spaces including Electric Lady Studios in New York, Spotify Studios in Los Angeles, and The Lighthouse at Ocean Way Nashville. The program also provides subscriptions to Splice and LANDR Studio Pro, priority looks for tour partnerships, and six months of free therapy sessions through BetterHelp. Pitching for playlist slots is one thing, but covering studio invoices and mental wellness actually keeps artists afloat.
