Atlanta artist Wicked recently sat down with B High Atl to break down the sheer scale of his early hustle, proving that staying independent has always been about the math. Back when major labels held the keys to the entire industry, LaFace Records came to the table with a $50,000 offer to sign him. For most coming up, that check looked like a ticket to the big leagues. But Wicked already had his own machine running. Speaking with B High Atl, he revealed he was already clearing $250,000 on his own by moving physical hard copies directly to his fanbase.
