YG and Ty Dolla $ign Put Vault Cut “Relax (2009)” on Streaming

YG and Ty Dolla $ign just reached deep into the archive. “Relax (2009)” is officially live on streaming platforms, unlocking a throwback that originally landed on YG’s 2009 mixtape *The Real 4Fingaz*. As HotNewHipHop noted, the track predates *My Krazy Life* and their breakout link-up on “Toot It and Boot It,” catching both West Coast staples right before they shifted the sound of the coast. The unearthing lands in the middle of an already stacked 2026 run for YG. He already delivered *THE GENTLEMEN’S CLUB*, went round-for-round against The Game on the VERZUZ stage, and pushed out loose singles like “So Real,” “MID LIFE CRISIS,” “OMG,” and “SIMON SAYS.” Hearing Ty’s raw vocals coast over early-era production hits different after watching him run the game's chorus department for a decade-plus. Talk about a time capsule. Hit play below.
